The School was established on July 21, 2014, and formally carried out its operation in July of
the same year. After several years, it received its permit from the Department of Education,
Manila, Philippines, and this was issued on March 7, 2016, to the School Management. Aside
from this, the School established accreditation and license from the Department of Education
and Knowledge, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The temporary permit was issued on
September 1, 2016, followed by the issuance of the General license on September 1, 2017.
TPS is currently situated in Baniyas East 7, Abu Dhabi.

With the current improvement in teaching and learning, TPS submitted itself for inspection by
the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). It unceasingly lives up to
the School’s vision, “Leader in Academic Excellence and Values Formation,” guiding it to train
students to become good leaders who are globally competitive, build a character that makes
a difference, equip them to be competent for the future challenges and be of service to
mankind.

TPS offers a Kindergarten to Grade 12 program under Academic Track. Since it was
established, the School has maintained the Philippine Curriculum for an easy transition if the
learners will be transferring back to the country. Additional subjects are given to conform to
the national requirements of the host country.


Phase 1 (KG 2)

Filipino, English, Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies anchored on the Standards and Competencies for Five-Year Old Filipino Children set by the Department of Education (DepEd). These standards and competencies are Socio-Emotional Development, Values Development, Physical Health and Motor Development, Aesthetic Development, Mathematics, Physical and Natural Environment, and Language, Literacy, and Communication. Moreover, behavior and developmental checklists and anecdotal records are used to assess the personal, social, and cognitive development of students.

Phase 2 (Grades 1 – 6)

Filipino, English, Science, Mathematics, UAE Social Studies, Araling Panlipunan, Practical Learning Time (for Grades 1 & 2 only), Home and Livelihood Education (for Grades 4-6 only), Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health, Values Education, Moral Education, Information and Communications Technology, Arabic for Non-Arabs, and Islamic Education (for Muslim students only in replace for Values Education)

Phase 3 (Grades 7-10)

Filipino, English, Science, Mathematics, UAE Social Studies, Araling Panlipunan, Technology and Livelihood Education, Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health, Values Education, Moral Education, Information and Communications Technology, Arabic for Non-Arabs (until Grade 9 only), and Islamic Education (for Muslim students only)

Phase 4 (Grades 11 and 12)

All fifteen (15) core subjects and sixteen (16) track subjects, (seven applied and nine specialized subjects), mandated in the Senior High School curriculum of the Department of Education, Philippines and the Moral Education prescribed by the United Arab Emirates


The School enrolls boys and girls from kindergarten to grade 12 levels. We registered 557
students who are Philippine passport holders.
The Philippine School serves the community through our students’ active participation and
engagement. The students actively participate in international competitions such as World
Scholars Cup, Painting Wizard in the UAE, and Canvas Painting, sponsored by Philippine
School Overseas (PSO). Our students have won numerous awards and recognition, both
international and local.
The 37 professionals are well equipped to provide excellent and quality educational and
auxiliary services to our students essential for their growth.
